“Her kind” aims to show the outstanding and various fashion statements made by young women in modern society. The work explores themes of identity and aims to tackle the traditional male gaze. A lot can be said about what you choose to wear, it can tell a story or keep so much hidden. With this project, stories of womanhood are being showcased in a honest light. "Her kind” is used to help women feel strong and special, just like these women did for her, and to show viewers that clothes are more than just something you wear and that they can be an empowering form of self-expression.
